What is the Advanced GP3 blood test for women? +
It is our most comprehensive women's health panel — 83 markers from a single blood draw. As well as advanced cardiovascular, liver, kidney, thyroid, hormone and blood-sugar markers, it adds a full blood count with iron and vitamins, immune and allergy markers, gut markers, a CA-125 marker and urinalysis, giving a clinician the most detailed biochemical picture we offer.
Which female hormones are included? +
The panel includes oestradiol, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinising hormone (LH), progesterone, prolactin, testosterone, sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and free androgen index. Hormone levels vary across the menstrual cycle and with menopause, so a clinician interprets them alongside your symptoms — and timing within your cycle may be advised for some results.
What is the CA-125 marker included in this test? +
CA-125 (Cancer Antigen 125) is a blood marker that can be raised in some ovarian and other conditions. It is not a stand-alone screening test for ovarian cancer, and a normal or raised result does not confirm or exclude disease — a clinician interprets it alongside your symptoms and history and advises on sensible next steps.
How is GP3 different from GP2 and Standard Screen Plus? +
Standard Screen Plus (33 markers) is a broad general check and Advanced GP2 (54 markers) adds advanced cardiovascular markers, a hormone profile and iron studies.
