Complaints
Tell us if something has gone wrong — we want to put it right. Here is how to raise a concern or a formal complaint.
We want to put it right
If anything about your experience with My Blood Test has fallen short, please tell us. Most issues are resolved quickly and informally. Where you would prefer a formal investigation, our complaints process is set out below. My Blood Test is a service of The Vesey, and concerns are handled by The Vesey's reception and governance team.
How to raise a concern or complaint
- Phone: 0121 387 3727 — open 8am to 8pm, 7 days
- Email: complaints@thevesey.co.uk
- Post: Complaints, The Vesey, Unit 3, The Courtyard, Sutton Coldfield, B75 7BU
Our response timescales
We acknowledge concerns and complaints within 2 working days. We aim to provide a full written response to formal complaints within 10 working days. For complex matters that need more time, we keep you informed throughout.
Escalation — the CQC
The Vesey is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). If you are unsatisfied with our response you may contact the CQC at cqc.org.uk or call 03000 616 161.
Independent review
For private-healthcare complaints that remain unresolved after our internal process, you may seek independent review through the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS) at iscas.cedr.com.
Complaints about how we use your information
If your complaint is about how we collect, use, store or share your personal information, you can complain to us directly by phone, or by emailing complaints@thevesey.co.uk with the subject "Data protection complaint". We will acknowledge your data-protection complaint and respond without undue delay.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any time — you do not have to complain to us first. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113.
