Fatigue & wellbeing
Our number-one panel for people who are constantly exhausted. Checks all the common culprits in one blood draw — thyroid, iron, B12, vitamin D and inflammation.
Thyroid · Iron · B12 · Folate · Vitamin D · Inflammation · Full Blood Count
Heart health
A complete cardiovascular picture — cholesterol, "hidden" inflammation markers and blood sugar, giving you the full risk story, not just your cholesterol number.
Total Cholesterol · HDL · LDL · Triglycerides · hsCRP · Lipoprotein(a) · HbA1c
Hormones
Checks the hormones behind mood swings, low libido, irregular periods and unexplained symptoms — all the key players in one draw.
Cortisol · DHEA-S · TSH · Free T4 · Oestradiol · Testosterone · SHBG · Prolactin
Fertility
Our most popular fertility screen — includes AMH (your ovarian reserve), full reproductive hormones and thyroid. Perfect before IVF or if you're trying to conceive.
AMH · FSH · LH · Oestradiol · Progesterone · Prolactin · Testosterone · SHBG · TSH
Thyroid
Your thyroid controls your energy, weight and mood. This panel checks all four key thyroid markers — much more thorough than a standard NHS TSH-only test.
TSH · Free T3 · Free T4 · Anti-TPO Antibodies · Anti-Thyroglobulin
Full health MOT
The most comprehensive women's health screen we offer — every major organ system, hormone, vitamin and heart risk marker in a single blood draw.
Full Blood Count · Thyroid · Hormones · B12 · Vitamin D · Iron · Liver · Kidney · HbA1c · Lipids + more
"I'd been exhausted for months and my GP said everything looked 'normal'. My Blood Test found my ferritin was almost zero and my vitamin D severely deficient — neither had ever been checked on the NHS. Within 6 weeks of treatment I felt like a completely different person."
"Booked Monday lunchtime, appointment Tuesday 8am, results Wednesday evening — outstanding. The report flagged my Lipoprotein(a) which the NHS had never checked. My GP was genuinely impressed and said it was exactly what she needed to adjust my treatment. Five stars."
"After two years of trying, my NHS GP still hadn't done an AMH test. My Blood Test had results back within 36 hours — the clinician's written commentary was so reassuring and gave us a clear plan. I travel from Solihull and it's absolutely worth the 20-minute drive."
The NHS is brilliant — but for blood tests, private testing fills the gaps your GP can't.

Most tests don't require fasting. Some tests — like glucose, insulin and cholesterol — give more accurate results when fasted (nothing to eat or drink except water for 8–12 hours). We'll tell you clearly when you book if fasting is needed for your chosen tests.
Most results come back within 24–48 hours of your sample being processed at the lab. Some specialist tests take a little longer. You'll be contacted as soon as your results are ready and reviewed.
Every result is reviewed by a trained clinician before it reaches you. We'll explain what your results mean in plain English — not medical jargon. If anything needs follow-up, we'll let you know clearly.
Yes. We have appointments available throughout the week including evenings and Sundays, 8am–8pm. Same-week and next-day slots are usually available.
Yes — you can book a test as a gift or on behalf of a family member. The appointment and results are for the person being tested. Just let us know when booking.
A single test checks one specific marker (e.g. just your vitamin D). A panel bundles several related tests into one blood draw — much better value and you get a fuller picture. For example, our Thyroid panel checks 5 markers instead of just the one TSH that GPs usually order.
Yes. Our clinic is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — the independent regulator of health services in England. All samples are processed in a UKAS-accredited laboratory — the same standard used by NHS hospitals.
Our testing room is inside The Vesey building on Boldmere Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73. Free parking is available directly outside. We're easily reached from Birmingham city centre (A38, about 20 minutes), Lichfield (A5127, 15 minutes), Tamworth (20 minutes), Solihull (25 minutes) and Walsall (25 minutes). Sutton Coldfield train station is a short walk.
For most tests, no special preparation is needed. Just stay well hydrated — drink plenty of water before your appointment. For tests that require fasting (glucose, cholesterol, insulin), we'll tell you clearly when you book. Fasting means nothing to eat for 8–12 hours; water is fine.
Wear a short-sleeved top or something where the sleeve rolls up easily. Bring your booking confirmation and a form of photo ID.
Absolutely. Your results report is yours to share with whomever you choose, including your NHS GP or any specialist. Many of our patients find their GP is very receptive to private blood test results — particularly for tests the NHS doesn't routinely run, such as detailed thyroid panels, AMH, Lipoprotein(a) and full hormone profiles.
Most of our blood tests are designed for adults aged 16 and over. For younger children, we offer Alex3 multiplex allergy testing — a single blood draw that screens for 295 allergens including foods, pollens, pets and moulds. For other children's testing, please speak to your GP who can refer to an NHS paediatric service.
Offer your team the health checks they'd never prioritise for themselves. We work with employers across Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands to deliver onsite or clinic-based health screening — with no NHS waiting lists and results that actually get acted on.
