About these terms

These terms apply when you book or use a blood-test service through My Blood Test. My Blood Test is a service of The Vesey Private Hospital Ltd ("The Vesey", "we", "us"), a CQC-registered private clinic in Sutton Coldfield, registered in England and Wales. By booking a test you agree to these terms.

The service

We provide private blood tests. Your blood draw takes place at The Vesey clinic in Sutton Coldfield. Samples are processed by UKAS-accredited laboratories and your results are reviewed by a qualified clinician before they are released to you.

Eligibility

Our blood tests are intended for adults aged 16 and over. Allergy testing for children is available on a separate pathway — please contact us. You are responsible for providing accurate personal and health information when you book.

Booking and payment

Tests are booked online and paid for securely via Stripe. The price payable is the price shown at checkout. From time to time a valid promotional code may apply a discount reflected in the price you pay. Promotional offers may be varied or withdrawn; the terms shown at the time of booking apply to your order.

Appointments, cancellations and rescheduling

You can reschedule using the details in your booking confirmation. Where possible we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. If you need to cancel with less notice, contact us directly and we will do our best to help.

Your results

You will be contacted as soon as your clinician-reviewed results are ready. We aim to turn results around promptly; some specialist markers take a little longer. Results are provided to help you understand your health and are yours to share with your GP or another clinician. They do not constitute a diagnosis.

Liability

We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond this, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant test.

Complaints

If something goes wrong, we want to put it right. Please see our complaints page for how to raise a concern or a formal complaint and our response timescales.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here applies to bookings made after it is posted. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
