Who it's for

Is the Advanced GP2 (Male) right for you?

  • You're serious about heart health and want advanced cardiovascular markers (apolipoproteins and Lipoprotein(a)) beyond a basic cholesterol test.
  • You want a fuller metabolic check — glucose, HbA1c, insulin and C-peptide — for blood sugar and insulin resistance.
  • You're proactive about prostate health and want a PSA check as part of a broader midlife review.
  • You're feeling tired or run-down and want thorough iron studies, thyroid and vitamin D checked.
  • You want to review the impact of diet, alcohol or weight with detailed liver, kidney and metabolic markers.
What it checks

25 markers, explained in plain English

Advanced GP2 for men screens 25 markers across eight areas of health from a single blood draw. It adds an in-depth cardiovascular risk profile (apolipoproteins and Lipoprotein(a)) to liver and kidney function, thyroid, blood sugar and insulin, iron studies, inflammation and a PSA prostate check. It sits between Standard Screen Plus and our most comprehensive GP3 panel, giving a clinician a thorough whole-body picture with extra depth on heart risk and prostate health.

FAQs

Your questions about the Advanced GP2 (Male)

What is the Advanced GP2 blood test for men? +

It is a comprehensive 25-marker health panel for men. Alongside the usual liver, kidney, thyroid and blood-sugar checks, it adds an in-depth cardiovascular risk profile (apolipoproteins and Lipoprotein(a)), full iron studies, inflammation markers and a PSA prostate check — giving a clinician a thorough whole-body picture from one blood draw.

How is GP2 different from Standard Screen Plus and GP3? +

Standard Screen Plus (33 markers) is a broad general check. Advanced GP2 (48 markers) adds advanced cardiovascular markers, iron studies and insulin for a more thorough review. Advanced GP3 (78 markers) is our most comprehensive panel, adding immune, allergy and additional organ markers.

Does this test include a PSA prostate check? +

Yes. The male panel includes Total Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), a blood marker that can support assessment of prostate health. A raised PSA is not a diagnosis on its own — a clinician reviews your result and advises on sensible next steps if needed.

Do I need to fast before this blood test? +

Because this panel includes glucose, HbA1c, insulin and a detailed cholesterol profile, we usually recommend fasting for around 10–12 hours beforehand for the most accurate results. Our team will confirm any preparation when you book.
