Who it's for

Is the Nutritional & Digestive right for you?

  • You have digestive symptoms such as bloating, changeable bowels or discomfort that could point to a gut condition
  • You have unexplained iron deficiency with no obvious cause, since coeliac disease is a common culprit
  • You're vegan or vegetarian and have digestive symptoms alongside a limited intake of some nutrients
  • You suspect coeliac disease — symptoms after eating gluten, or a family history of coeliac disease
  • You have indigestion or reflux where an H. pylori infection may be involved
What it checks

15 markers, explained in plain English

This 15-marker panel combines coeliac serology (tissue transglutaminase IgA) and H. pylori antibody testing with a full nutritional workup, so a clinician can look at gut health and nutrient status together in one blood draw. It covers a complete iron panel (iron, ferritin, transferrin and binding capacity), the vitamins and minerals most affected by poor absorption (B12, folate, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium and zinc), plus blood sugar, lipids, albumin, total antioxidant status and a full blood count. Because the gut is where nutrients are absorbed, testing both together helps identify or rule out a shared underlying cause for digestive symptoms and nutritional deficiencies.

FAQs

Your questions about the Nutritional & Digestive

Can this test diagnose coeliac disease? +

This panel includes tissue transglutaminase antibodies, the recommended first-line blood screen for coeliac disease. A positive result can help identify coeliac disease but usually needs confirming with a gut biopsy. Keep eating gluten before the test, as a gluten-free diet can mask the result. A clinician will explain your results and next steps.

Do I need to fast before this test? +

Because this panel includes glucose, insulin and lipids, we may ask you to avoid eating for several hours beforehand. Our team will confirm any preparation when you book.

What happens if a result comes back abnormal? +

A clinician reviews every panel before it is released. If something is outside the normal range, we explain what it means in plain English and recommend sensible next steps — which may include a GP appointment, a repeat test, or onward referral. This test is a screening investigation and is not a substitute for a clinical diagnosis.
