Is the Lifestyle Screen right for you?
- You're due a general check-up — you feel well but haven't had bloods done in a while and want a thorough baseline
- You're a busy professional with long hours, takeaways and not enough sleep, and want to know what it's costing you
- You have family history on your mind — heart disease, diabetes or high cholesterol in the family — and want to stay ahead of it
- You're making a lifestyle change — a new diet, exercise plan or giving up alcohol — and want to see the numbers move
- You want to check your nutrition — whether your iron, B12, folate and vitamin D are where they should be
18 markers, explained in plain English
The Lifestyle Screen is a broad, 18-marker general wellness check covering seven areas of health in a single blood draw. It looks at cholesterol and heart risk (a full lipid profile), blood sugar (glucose and HbA1c), liver function, kidney function and electrolytes, a full iron panel, a full blood count, and key vitamins (B12, folate and vitamin D). It's designed to give health-conscious adults a rounded, clinician-reviewed snapshot of how the body is coping with day-to-day lifestyle.

Your questions about the Lifestyle Screen
What does the Lifestyle Screen check? +
It is a broad, 18-marker general health check. In one blood draw it looks at your cholesterol and heart risk, blood sugar, liver function, kidney function and salts, iron status, a full blood count, and key vitamins (B12, folate and vitamin D). It is designed to give health-conscious adults a rounded snapshot of how the body is coping with day-to-day lifestyle.
Do I need to fast before this blood test? +
Because this panel includes cholesterol, glucose and HbA1c, we usually recommend avoiding food for a few hours beforehand for the most accurate lipid and glucose readings. Water is fine. Our team will confirm any preparation when you book.
How is this different from a more basic screen? +
A basic screen gives a quick core snapshot. The Lifestyle Screen goes further — adding a full iron panel, vitamin B12, folate, vitamin D and HbA1c — so it is better suited to anyone wanting a fuller picture of nutrition and long-term metabolic health alongside the basics.
